Our Bagus recently served as a lecturer in the Pertamina Mini Master of Law Program 2026 (MMHP 2026), a collaboration between PT Pertamina (Persero) and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada through the Natural Resources Governance Studies Center. With the theme “Legal Clarity in Business and Energy Industry”, the program provides legal education and training for Pertamina employees.
On 18 July 2026, at the MIH UGM Jakarta campus, Bagus led two intensive classes in a one day session, delivering material on Accountability of Directors in Indonesian Corporate Law. His lecture focused on sustainable accountability frameworks, fiduciary duties, shareholder activism and derivative lawsuits, the Business Judgment Rule, state assets and SOEs, and risk mitigation through governance and GCG principles.
It was a rewarding chance to help participants gain practical insights into how legal principles intersect with the energy industry. The participants’ active engagement and insightful questions enriched the dialogue, adding depth to the session.
In addition to this role, Bagus also serves as a non permanent lecturer in business law courses for both the international undergraduate program and the postgraduate program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
