Bagus Enrico & Partners, in collaboration with Co-Effort Law Firm, hosted a seminar titled “Unlocking Indonesia’s New and Renewable Energy Investment Potential: The New Energy Bill and Indonesia-China Cooperation” on 20 October 2026 at Nusantara Room, Bagus Enrico & Partners’ office.

The seminar brought together more than 30 participants from the energy sector to discuss Indonesia’s evolving energy landscape and investment opportunities in new and renewable energy.

Featuring Ujang Suhirta, Partner at Bagus Enrico & Partners, and Mu Yun, representative of Smart Green Energy Innovate Tech Co., Limited and an expert in methanol-fired power generation, the seminar explored the proposed New and Renewable Energy Bill (Rancangan Undang-Undang Energi Baru dan Energi Terbarukan), key regulatory developments, and legal and commercial considerations for investors.

Discussions also covered emerging investment opportunities in methanol, including methanol-fired power generation, and the broader prospects for energy investment in Indonesia.
